There is a vacancy for the post of Clerk to Trudoxhill Parish Council. This role is important in ensuring the smooth running of the Council by dealing with correspondence, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, managing the accounts and co-ordinating the Council’s activities. Attendance is required at monthly council meetings in Trudoxhill Village Hall, normally held on the 1st Thursday of each month. Training and support will be provided.

The successful candidate will be well organised, have good communication skills, be able to use a computer for correspondence, agendas, minutes, emails and internet, and work from home. Previous experience as a Parish Clerk and familiarity with simple accounts, will be an advantage, but are not essential. Work will be 15 hours per month and the salary is based on the agreed local government LC1 pay scale. The minimum hourly rate is £9.34, but is negotiable based on experience.
