Take in the fantastic views from the church and from across the parkland. The marked route follows public footpaths and then on through the, normally private, grounds of Marston House back to the church.
As well as the views, there is an opportunity to take a peek at the ongoing restoration work of The Walled Garden. An exciting project for the future. Over 1600 new trees and shrubs have been planted in the grounds of Marston House and you will be able to see many of them on your walk. There are plans for further planting this Autumn.
You can also take the opportunity to admire all the newly restored windows in the church. They are truly magnificent.
Starting and finishing at St Leonards Church, Marston Bigot. Anytime between 11am to 3pm. Dogs on leads welcome. Soup and Artisan Bread either before or after your walk served in The Church. (Donations welcomed)
Please keep to the marked route and wear appropriate footwear.
Parking is in the church car park.
