Well done and many thanks to the 24 brave parishioners who struggled through the snow for bacon butties before the start of the Parish clean up. By 1.30pm there was a huge pile of black bags collected from all areas of the parish. So much hard and dirty work was well rewarded and well deserved ‘medals’ were presented at the pub afterwards.
Exciting ‘finds’ included; a bag full of the contents of someone’s bathroom cabinet, a pinball machine, a stylised cat and a Horse ornament marked ‘Foreign’.
It was great to see so many of our junior parishioners out collecting with their families. Thanks again to all involved.
